Working on a video and this came from one of the shots.  The idea is its supposed to look like in some MMO game, farming monsters and stuff.  A lot of the DOTA2 characters kinda fit that look.

Also if you notice, thats ms.paulings face.  Bit more detailed face.

EDIT: I should probably note, that for this one particular shot, I used the baked in animaitons on the DOTA2 models.  So I can't take credit for most of the animaiton this time. Sad Pony   I figured I might as well take advantage of the features if I'm gonna use these models and save some time.  The rest of the video (if it is ever finished, har har) is / will be custom.

That second THWACK needs a little more force behind it.

I thought about speeding it up, wasn't sure if I'd call it the second hit or just a little recoil on the character.  But now that someone else mentions it, I'll probably attempt to tweak it a bit.

In DOTA2 you farm much bigger monsters though... Amazing animation though!

That's really really nice and smooth animated! How long did it take you?

I probably should've 'noted' in the description, the Dota models have animations built in, so I used mostly those for this segment,  with a few minor tweaks around.Sweating a little...

So the entire scene from setup to finish really only took a few hours.  The particles are the only thing that gave me issues during renders and added a bunch of time testing/fixing.

I actually used the baked in animations on the dota models for this segment with some minor tweaks here and there..so I cant really take credit this time. lol

I figured I might as well take advantage of them if using them.  Otherwise the rest of the video im working on uses mostly stuff without the baked in animations.
